Providence Student Ministry exists to equip parents and provide corporate opportunities for students in grades 6-12 to learn to worship and enjoy God and lead others to do the same.
With the gospel leading this way, we call our students in Grades 6-12 to four simple action points: gather, grow, serve, and go. Keep reading to learn more about how we work toward each one!

Gather

We believe that the most important thing we do is gather as a body of believers on Sunday morning for worship. Students are a vital part of this worship time. Our student ministry is not an isolated silo but an integral part of the whole church ministry. Our students are encouraged to serve, sing, and receive God’s Word in worship with the whole church.

Serve

We want to help our students understand the importance of service, both in the church and the community. We serve with our Nolensville Food Pantry, with Kids Ministry, and in our media and worship teams.

Go

As believers we are called to GO both to our neighbors and to the nations. Our students learn that God has them in their classes, neighborhoods, and activities to reach people with the good news of the gospel. We spend time practically teaching our students to share their testimonies and invite friends to church.

Grow

Because the gospel is crazy good news, students meet for small group discipleship where godly leaders mentor them to display and declare the gospel in their lives.

Sundays: At 9am we meet for systematic Bible teaching from elders and leaders leading our middle and high schoolers in separate discussions of God’s Word.

Wednesdays: At 6:00pm we eat dinner together and build relationships. At 6:30pm we sing together with a student-led band and hear God’s Word taught before breaking up into age and gender-based small groups to be discipled.

Connection: Our students are spread out, busy, and often in need of real face-to-face relationships. We typically have a Connect Night with dinner and fun the 1st Wednesday of each month through the school year to focus on building relationships.

Events: We work to provide excellent events for discipleship and relationship building! Our capstone event is Beach Camp where we go for a week of intense discipleship and intense fun at Panama City Beach the last week of June. We also offer a weekend retreat in fall and spring focused on a specific area of discipleship.
